  1. I was only ever allowed to dress up just the once and that was as Fred Flinstone with my little sister as Wilma. All I remember is that the jute sacking brought on an asthma attack!

  2. I haven't dressed up for many years now. As a child my mum used to dress us in just a black bin bag with a witches hat.

  3. I dressed up as Shaggy from Scooby Do movies. It was so funny.

  4. Think I only ever dressed up once and that was one I had to for an official do. I wore a very simply, home-made white flowing dress as a Greek maiden.

  21. Years ago they had those stupid costumes with the plastic masks and I remember always being sweaty and feeling awkward and gross in them. What makes it even more odd is the fact that I am and have been in Maine. Halloween is supposed to be chilly not sweaty. When I was 14 my mother told me she refused to get me a costume so I took some ratty jeans and one of my father's flannels and rubbed them in dirt along with myself and went as a bum. Best and most enjoyable costume ever!

  30. The year (when I was young) we went round "trick or treating" and stopped at my friends' house. Her Mum asked if we were allowed to go and see my friends' Grandparents who lived a short drive away. Had to stop off at my house on the way to tell my Mum. We were out until about 11 because her Grandparents then asked if we could pop round all THEIR friends as well lol. Was a great night, I was a cat.
