  1. Mongrel Mage, The (Saga of Recluce) by L E Modesitt - the paperback is released on 1 November, can't always afford to buy hardback copies so have to wait for the cheaper paperback to come out. Its another instalment in his long-running Recluce fantasy series and I've loved all his books to date. Its a great mix of politics and magic with lead characters who are not always likeable but the storytelling is fantastic. Rafflecopter entries are in my real name NIKKI HAYES, thanks for another fantastic giveaway :o)

  6. That's Year One by Nora Roberts was a great novel. Very exciting and fascinating, describing how those who are left after a devastating pandemic kills more than half the world's population, manage to survive with the help of witches, elves etc. A real page turner indeed. This was book 1 and book 2 is expected on: December 4, 2018 - another one to look forward to which I'm hoping to get as a Christmas present. :-)
