  13. I'm currently reading Elizabeth I - Apprenticeship by David Starkey. Its a non-fiction history book and covers the life of Elizabeth I from birth until ascending the throne at the age of 25. Similar to Starkey's biography Henry VIII - Virtuous Prince, in that both books cover the less written about early years of the two monarchs. Starkey is a fantastic writer who writes history in a story-telling style - he has a fantastic command of the English language and I do love an author who knows how to use commas properly. I'd recommend both books highly to anyone interested in the Tudor period of English history - they are really easy to read compared to most history books so suitable for the casual reader as well as amateur historians and those studying history at school/college. Rafflecopter entries are in the name of NIKKI HAYES - congratulations on your 4 million views, I love your blog and all your fantastic giveaways :o)

  19. I am reading Her Final Breath (Tracy Crosswhite Book 2) by Robert Dugoni. This novel is a little predictable, but I like the main character and the writing style of the author. The book is well written and the story unfolds very well. Sequels or ongoing series often loose some momentum after the introductory story but definitely NOT in this case.
