Posy works in a bookshop. She's her younger brother's guardian because their parents passed away. Lavinia, the owner of the bookshop, helped Posy to get back on her feet when it happened. Posy mostly lives in a dream world, but that part of her life ends when Lavinia dies. She leaves her bookshop to Posy and the rest of her estate goes to her grandson Sebastian. Posy is now the boss of several people and the bookshop isn't doing well. If she wants to keep working there together with the staff she loves so much, she needs to find a way to make it profitable again.

Posy thinks she knows how to attract more visitors and she makes plans to transform the bookshop. However, Sebastian has other ideas. He can be rude and he doesn't listen to Posy. He tries to make decisions for her, but Posy won't let him. She wants the bookshop to be hers, to turn it into something women will love. Sebastian is a hindrance, but Posy also finds him very attractive. Hiding in her world of fiction is Posy's way to deal with the situation, but is that enough of a distraction or will things eventually spiral out of control?

The Little Bookshop of Lonely Hearts is a fantastic heartwarming story. Posy is a dreamer. She's sweet, has good ideas and she's smart, but she also likes to disappear into her own world every now and then. I loved how Annie Darling gives her readers the chance to go there with her and enjoyed reading about Posy's thoughts and fantasies. She has numerous discussions with Sebastian and I often laughed out loud while reading their conversations, they're incredibly funny. The way they communicate with each other is brilliant. Sebastian tries to walk all over Posy and she will never allow him. Meanwhile there's plenty of chemistry between them. They're a fabulous combination of marvelous character traits and I loved their unique connection.

The Little Bookshop of Lonely Hearts is a story about one of my favorite topics, books. I immediately fell in love with the setting. The bookshop is a wonderful quaint place and Posy fits right in. She's a bit eccentric and I loved her taste in both stories and men. The Little Bookshop of Lonely Hearts is a novel that made me incredibly happy because of its amazing warm atmosphere, memorable dialogue laced with humor, original delightful characters and uplifting nature. I highly recommend this terrific scintillating story.

Verity doesn't need a man to be happy. She likes her own company, needs alone time and is perfectly content being a Jane Austen fan girl without having her own Mr. Darcy. Verity works at Happy Ever After, a bookshop specialized in romance. Verity deals with the accounts and is great with money, but she doesn't like helping customers. Her colleagues are curious and always encourage her to go out with them, so Verity has come up with an imaginary boyfriend, so she can take time for herself when she needs it. This backfires when they see her at a restaurant while she's on her own. She needs a partner and sees a man sitting by himself, that's how she meets Johnny.

Johnny is in love with a woman he can't have. Everyone keeps telling him that he should move on, but he isn't ready. That's why an arrangement with Verity is beneficial. They can accompany each other to social events, so nobody will try to set them up anymore. For Verity this deal means she has to step out of her comfort zone, Johnny has a large amount of rich friends and that means she has to go with him to many parties, weddings and other events. While spending time with each other it becomes clear Verity and Johnny have a lot in common, but their relationship is purely based on friendship, isn't it?

True Love at the Lonely Hearts Bookshop is another wonderful story about a member of the Happy Ever After team. Verity is an introvert and large groups of people make her want to scream. She comes from a big and loud family and has problems fitting in sometimes. With Johnny she can truly be herself. The only problem is that Johnny isn't available. His love life is incredibly complicated and I was curious where that would lead. Finding out if he'd ever be able to untangle the web of complex emotions that's his personal life kept me on the edge of my seat. Verity can stand her ground and she's good for him. I loved her fiery spirit and kept hoping Johnny would see how wonderful she is.

Annie Darling writes fantastic stories about at first sight impossible love matches. I like that idea a lot and her lovely sense of humor makes each scene a joy to read. Verity and Johnny have a terrific spark, both on an intellectual and a chemistry level. I loved how well they understand each other. Their friendship goes deep, but issues can become obstacles and Anne Darling handles that subject in a magnificent way that constantly made me smile. True Love at the Lonely Hearts Bookshop is entertaining, filled with humor and fabulously heartwarming. I absolutely loved this feelgood romantic story.

Nina wants life to be an adventure. She's attracted to bad boys, she treats her appearance as her canvas and she has two beautiful bookish tattoo sleeves that show how passionate she is. She has many rules about dating and meets plenty of different men, but somehow she hasn't been able to find her one true love. Nina works at Happy Ever After, a bookshop specialized in romance. Books are her passion, but the shop is suffering. When it reopened there were plenty of ideas to make it a success. Unfortunately not all of them were implemented and Nina is itching to take over some of the more creative tasks. Will she get that chance?

When Noah walks into Happy Ever After with his tablet to check on the employees and the customers Nina is not amused. Noah wants to help the shop to flourish, but while Nina would like that as well she doesn't like being watched and there's something about Noah that bothers her. When she finds out who he is, she's determined not to let him find out how she knows him. There's an attraction that's hard to resist, but Nina can't tell Noah everything about herself. This is something that can't end well. Will she lose love again before she has properly found it?

Crazy in Love at the Lonely Hearts Bookshop is a fantastic love story. Nina is fabulous and I liked her style. She wears amazing dresses, she's confident and she can creatively express her knowledge about books. She's a fascinating person and I enjoyed reading every single word about her personality. She has spunk and pizazz in spades. Noah makes her feel uneasy and that's exactly what she needs. It's time for Nina to fall for someone head over heels. However, Nina is keeping something from Noah. I kept hoping she'd find the courage to tell him. He's a wonderfully sweet guy, a main character to fall in love with. He's smart, adventurous and absolutely adorable. They're a perfect couple, but something is standing in their way. Finding out if there would be a solution for this magical duo, made me fly through the pages of their mesmerizing story.

Annie Darling knows how to describe true love. She approaches the subject with a large dosage of humor and plenty of fantastic drama. I enjoyed every single word of Crazy in Love at the Lonely Hearts Bookshop. Happy Ever After is a delightful setting, the perfect place to fall in love, with both books and gorgeous people. Annie Darling carefully explores each layer of her main characters' personalities and the result is a beautiful complete story filled with riveting dialogue and many captivating moments. Crazy in Love at the Lonely Hearts Bookshop is another brilliant romantic story by Annie Darling, I highly recommend the amazing Lonely Hearts Bookshop series.
