  1. What I love most about the books is that the characters were so relatable, despite their abilities to use magic. Their struggles were real in my mind thanks to Rowling's wonderful writing skills. Their problems were very similar to the ones we face in our ordinary lives. Relationships, friendships, loyalty and morality are huge parts of the series. Harry Potter connects me to my childhood. Every time I open my worn out books, I remember the first time again.

  33. It was definitely one of a kind when the first book came out. I love the names of the characters and the diversity of the "magical creatures". The idea of getting your email delivered by owl is amazing. Even though you can read the books, the films always show you things you might have forgotten. A bit plus for me was the casting of the films too. Alan Rickman played an amazing Snape and it was as if the character was written for him.
