  1. I do not care for the ebook as the glare hurts my eyes and I actually like to have the book in my hand while reading.

  2. Paper! They are easier to flip pages back and forth. And I love the smell of the printed word.

  3. I love the smell of books, especially old ones. This is why, if given the choice, I will always choose a paper book over an ebook any day.

  4. "Paper books or eBooks and why?" Paper books, definitely. I like to own and possess books, and to read them easily and portably, without muss or fuss. I think eBooks involve some level of muss and fuss.

  5. Paper books! I like being able to see my physical collection.

  6. Paper books! Honestly because they smell so lovely. Especially old ones. I think ebooks have benefits as well but its paper books for me.

  7. I like them both but if I had to choose I'd probably pick eBooks since it's a whole lot easier (and lighter) to carry a whole library with you when you just pack your eReader. I guess if I had more space and could build an actual home library I'd switch to paper books in a heartbeat. :-)

  8. Paper because I am a dinosaur & don't own an ereader, lol. The only thing that might appeal to me about one would be the ability to carry multiple books around but I suspect I'd still mostly read real books when at home

  9. I so love the feel of turning a page, putting a bookmark in and the satisfaction of seeing just how far left I have to go before I plan what to read next! So Paper it is, though I think you guessed that!!

  11. Both, actually. I love ebooks and that I can load my Kindle and just carry the tablet instead of lots of books at once. But there's nothing like the feel of a good book in your hands. :-)

  12. Paper because I like looking at the cover, reading the author bio, but ebooks are handier to keep in my purse.

  18. I like the paper just because I like owning the physical book so that I can put it on my shelf. But as far as reading goes I don't care if it is E or physical

  26. I read both. I have a Kindle for convenience for my commute and/or holidays as it is lighter than carrying a physical book(s). But I have shelves of paper books, either read or waiting to be read at home as you can't beat holding a book in your hand at times

  43. I like both, I love having the colourful cover and paper of an actual book, but ebooks are great for travelling

    ReplyDelete
  44. Torn because I love the idea of a "paper" book, there's nothing like opening the front cover and discovering the story behind the cover, but as ill-health prevents me from carrying heavy books from the library and I have to rely on someone taking me in the car, I can see why "ebooks" are so popular. Wouldn't be without my ebook, and it will recommend authors if you are looking at a particular genre and fancy reading someone new, and even better, sometimes you can read a bit of the book on a ereader without spending anything to see whether you like it or not.

  47. Paper books, it’s so much more of an experience with a real book. The feel, smell and losing yourself in the page. Ebooks just seem cold too me and I get eye strain after a while.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Paperbacks. Love holding them in my hand.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Paperbacks, i just love it some how, but e-reader is more practical and saving space for storage or during traveling
