  1. To me, kindness means caring for other people, animals and the environment. It means considering how our actions and words affect others and being thoughtful and sensitive to their needs.

  16. Kindness should be in everyone's nature though unfortunately it's not. Kindness is being nice to people, animals and our environment. Helping others when you can, listening when someone just needs to talk, being prepared to just be there for family and friends.

  17. Kindness is being a nice person to everyone being polite treating others the same way you would wish to be treated sometimes that simple hello or good morning to a stranger could mean everything and make there day and manners they never hurt anyone. Sometimes simple generosity such as at xmas i sent one of my friends and her grand daughter a huge gift box full of things by airmail to the US knowing she could never send me one back it made her xmas and mine too that she enjoyed it!

  39. That someone understands how something should feel and that is done naturally rather than artificially. It should be second nature to everyone, like manners. Kindness should be as easy as breathing. If someone has to think about it, then peer pressure or other human emotions start to impose such as greed, or the need to profit.

  45. Kindness is a pattern of love. "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (Bible)
