Book Review - I Love You, Alfie Cub by Angela McAllister & Daniel Howarth

Amazon USA Amazon UK Goodreads

Review by Anniek

Alfie's mom has given birth and now he has two sisters. He has to share his mommy and Alfie thinks that his new baby sisters are using up all of her love and that there isn't enough left for him. Alfie goes out on his own to find more love, so that his mommy will always have enough for all of them.

I Love You, Alfie Cub is a book that I received at the exact right time. My son has to get used to being a big brother and is now learning how to share my time and attention with his baby sister. The large pages in combination with beautiful drawings effortlessly keep the attention of younger children. The drawings perfectly match the story and it is easy to understand. We have read this book so many times already that my son is now able to retell the story when he looks at the pages. He often picks up this book on his own and will start reading out loud. I Love You, Alfie Cub is a beautiful story with a powerful and important message for all the big brothers and sisters out there.

Reading I Love You, Alfie Cub is a perfect way to explain to your children that mommy has enough love for everybody.
