  1. Fantasy is one my favourite genres. I enjoy books like Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings and could read them multiple times. The back story, history, names, fantasy elements and story are unforgettable and resonate long after you've put it down.

  8. I feel that the classical tended to have more meaning/morals behind them and even with the magic it didn't seem to run as deep into the occult as quite a lot of the newer stuff seems to do, if it did at all! It just seemed like more pure fun.

Where you can lose yourself in imaginery worlds with all the different, weird and wonderful characters and places (love the names too). It's all very pure which, without sounding prudish, is a nice change from some fantasy stories today.
