Cinderella is never negative or angry due to how poorly her stepsisters and stepmother treat her, and she keeps working hard despite things seeming hopeless.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses, because I had a beautifully illustrated edition when I was a child and I can still remember the drawings of the silver and gold and jeweled forests, and the lake with the boats, and the ballroom with all the princesses dancing. I wish I could remember the illustrator's name, but it was so long ago.
