I like how I can read at night when everyone else is asleep, how I can adjust the light levels, how I can change the font and text size, how many ebooks fit on a Kindle, how I can get a lot of free or very cheap ebooks, and also how when my hands are painful with fibromyalgia it's much easier to hold a light Kindle than to hold open a book (literally makes a big difference!) However I'll always love the touch and smell and feel of a real book and splurge occasionally when one has a particularly nice cover, or inside illustrations, or is a particular favourite, etc. :D

    ReplyDelete
  117. Ebooks are perfect for people who aren't very steady on their feet or find going to the library, and/or bookstores a chore rather than enjoying it. Love the fact that you can have 1,000's of books and your house doesn't resemble a library (although mine does), they are very easy to take out and about with you. Another major plus for me, is that with an ereader you often have the chance to download a free extract from the book so you can decide whether you want to continue reading or not, ereaders also often recommend authors if you are looking for a particular author, if they write the same thing. Also you can get quite a lot of books for free, which is another major plus.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I love that I have 5,000 books on my tablet! And I like that we can search for things with an ebook.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I love that they don't take up any room, I don't really do clutter. I also like that you can go back to where you left it without the need of finding your page. Sometimes you can start and book and don't really get into it at the time and can go back to it and find that it's a rather good story xx
