  4. I would probably have to say Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I read that book so many times as a child and though I haven't read it in years, I have so many fond memories of that book. I just loved all of the magic in the book and the little twists and turns that the story took.

  16. Whichwood, I mean it's grim because this girl's magic is about seeing the dead to the other side, but there was something really lovely about the story.

  30. Most magical ever? Wow, that is difficult! I'm going to choose the Wishing Chair books by Enid Blyton simply because they were among the first. I have read many, many magical books since then, of course.

  39. Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Andersen. I've always been magically absorbed in the stories when I read them since i was a little girl. I also love The Little Witch by Otfried Preußler.
