  1. I am hopeless when it comes to sneaking a peek at the last pages of a book *sigh* which is where my Kindle comes in handy as I can't "accidently" catch a glimpse of the ending.

  2. Sometimes I like to jump to the end of a book and read the last page, just so I know how it's going to end. I also like the smell of books, especially old ones. This is why, if given the choice, I will always choose a physical book over an ebook any day.

  3. I sometimes find the characters name's difficult to pronounce so I make my own names that are simpler up.

  4. "We'd love to read about your quirky reading habits." Quirky! I'm very conventional!

  5. I have to have Doritos and a small piece of Hershey's chocolate. LOL And I often comment about something exciting I'm reading to my dog. He never comments back. Just gives me the look. LOL

  6. I really only feel comfortable reading in bed. I can read in other spots but I am easily distracted. I like my comfy bed.

  7. I love reading dystopian/apocalyptic novels where just about everyone dies :0 I always assume I'll somehow survive, so it's like reading a how-to survive guide. I also love to read in the bath, and have dropped my Sony e-reader one too many times. The first few dunkings were forgiving, but the last one did it in. So I'm currently dunking real, paper books.

  8. I don't know that I have a lot of quirky reading habits, but I do not like to read samplers usually. I have very little patience when it comes to finishing a story, so excerpts and samplers are usually a pass for me. I also like to wait until a series is complete so that I can read all the books in one go instead of having to wait for all the books to be released. =]

  9. Mine aren't quirky as I usually just read in bed or on a sunlounger if on holiday!

  10. When I read The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell, there were so many characters mentioned I had to make a list of them, who they were and their relationships to each other, as I just couldn't remember them all!

  11. Hmmm... the only thing I can think that's quirky about my reading habits, in the sense of a bit weird, is that I count mentally each line as I read, in sets of 4, with the ultimate aim of sets of 16. I love these numbers because you can divide by 2 and never reach an irrational number, haha. (Gulp, never told anyone this before hehe ;) ). It's such a habit that I hardly realise I'm doing it most of the time and doesn't interfere with my absorption in the story. Maybe it's my love of Maths combined with love of reading?? haha
