  1. What I love most about the books is that the characters were so relatable, despite their abilities to use magic. Their struggles were real in my mind thanks to Rowling's wonderful writing skills. Their problems were very similar to the ones we face in our ordinary lives. Relationships, friendships, loyalty and morality are huge parts of the series. Harry Potter connects me to my childhood. Every time I open my worn out books, I remember the first time again.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Harry Potter has been a big part of my life since I was young. When going through troubled times these books gave me somewhere to hide from my problems. I often imagined myself in this fantastic world. 114. I love how they are written and the fact you can be taken to this whole othet world full of magic and adventure.plus all the characters are fun and relatable. Iv seen the school it was based on in Edinburgh.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Love the fact that it's very different from anything that has been done before, the range of characters, both "human" and "animal" and the way you can almost see the characters when you read the books. One of my favourite things is the "Owl Mail", would love my mail being delivered by an owl. Snape was one of my favourite characters in the books and think the late Alan Rickman played him splendidly in the films, it was as if the role in the book was made with him in mind. They will never date and even though I've read them several times and seen the movies several times as well, I always find bits that I missed and still enjoy them.
