  1. I love so many, but my favorite is probably when they re-pot the baby mandrakes.

  2. Love watching the stairs change each time they go up them!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. My favorite is when Harry tricked Lucius Malfoy into giving Dobby the sock back. Dobby was finally free from being his servant.

    ReplyDelete
  4. When Snape is telling Harry to take his tears as he is dying and he learns about what happened in the past and that he is a good guy bc he loved his mom.

  5. Mmmm tea!

Hmmm, a fav scene. I did like when Sirius finally shows up and everyone is all eeeek!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't really have a favorite scene, but my favorite book was the Prisoner of Azkaban.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I love when Harry rides Buckbeak the hippogriff. He looks so free & happy.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with the Gryffindor boys eating sweets that makes them make animal/a steam engine noise. In the books we get to see a lot more of Harry and Ron's friendship and we don't get enough of that in the films. This is a scene where you get to actually see Harry enjoying his time at Hogwarts.

    ReplyDelete
  9. My favorite is when Harry learns Snape is complicated and hasn't been "the bad guy" all along because it makes so much sense, but you don't see it coming the first time.

    ReplyDelete
  10. My favorite part is probably when Harry rides on Buckbeak!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I love the moment between Harry and Hermione on the stairs when Hermione is upset about Ron kissing another girl.

    ReplyDelete
  12. When Molly and Bellatrix face off against each other

    ReplyDelete
  13. "What's your favorite Harry Potter moment/scene and why?" Harry Potter meeting the sinister Tom fellow as Harry completes a quest--Tom is smooth and wicked, and it's elegantly scary!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh, goodness, that's a really hard one!! I think Remus and Sirius being reunited in the Shrieking Shack. :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Harry leaving Umbridge to the centaurs. Yes, Voldemort is the epitome of evil, but I know more people who are Umbridge's kind of evil and would happily see them ridden down.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I love the part where Ron is under a love spell! <3

    ReplyDelete
  17. So many good ones. I'll go back towards the beginning and when Harry's spell book attacks him in his room. I often worry if my books will do that. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  18. Good heavens, I don't think that I have just one favourite scene but picking one of them I'd say it's Harry Potter's first flying lesson with Madam Hooch and then of course the match which was riveting.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I love the moment when Harry looks into the mirror and sees his parents behind him, it is a happy but sad moment.

    ReplyDelete
  20. When Harry and Hermione in the book go to Godric's Hollow. Harry sees his parents' graves, the statue and also the grave of Ignotus Peverell a sign that the three brothers story has some truth in it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. A lot but I really like the trials in The goblet of fire

    ReplyDelete
  22. I love all the classroom scenes where you see normal magic life - like what they get to learn in wizard school.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh my, I love all the scenes in Harry Potter. But if I were to choose one,it'd be whenever Dumbledore said 'Let the feast begin'. I stayed in dorm and whenever its meal time, either me or my friends will say that before we ate.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't think I have a favourite scene but the whole piloto of the Triwizard Tournament is great and I love it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ooooh that's such a hard question. I really love it when Hermione and Harry go back in time with the time turner in book 3. :)

    1. I forgot to add in my first comment to why I like the owls and letters scene but really I don't have a reason, I always just kind of liked seeing how the owls outsmarted the uncle who kept getting rid of the letters.

  36. It's actually when Hermoine says "We could have been killed - or worse expelled." Tat one sentence sums up Hermoine - she is brave but also very concerned about her studies.

  77. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

But Ron was staring at Hermione as though suddenly seeing her in a whole new light.

    “Hermione, Neville’s right – you are a girl… “

“Oh well spotted,” she said acidly.’

It was both funny and romantic and changed the whole dynamic between Ron and Hermione

    ReplyDelete
  78. Its got to be the scene between Professor Snape and Professor Dumbledore that you see in Snape's Memory
    'After All This Time?'
    'Always'

It makes you see Severus Snape for who he really is - its heartbreaking!

    ReplyDelete

  83. There are so many brilliant scenes that it's almost impossible to pick a favourite... however I do love the scene when all the letters come flying down the chimney, because it 'kicks off the magic' & signifies the start of Harry's future as a wizard.

  87. I love so many scenes it is difficult to chose, but I do love it when the letters come pouring out of the chimney because it is really the start of the magic and signifies the start of Harry's life as a wizard (plus it 'gets one over on Harry's uncle!)

  88. I have two - absolutely love the HOWLER MAIL that Ron Weasley received. Much more interesting than the mail we get also love the fact that owls deliver the mail too. Plus I love the "flying car" and we were lucky enough to go in a train to Mallaig which was used in that scene. Also just about anything with Snape in them. He was my favourite character and Alan Rickman was the perfect fit for him, so it's hard to pick a scene which involved Snape as a favourite.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Sirius yelling at Pettigrew 'then you should have died, like we would have died for you' is a pretty scene. It make me think of what loyalty is really supposed to mean.
