I have always been an avid reader. Ever since I was a young child I could curl up with a book and lose myself in a story. I can walk around in a bookstore for hours, just looking at all the beautiful books. Even though I've read so many great stories it never occurred to me to leave a review until Suze asked me if I wanted to write reviews for her blog.
Suze taught me the importance of reviews and how to write them. I discovered that I loved to write reviews about all of the great stories that I read. It gives reading a whole new dimension for me. A review doesn't have to be long, just a few words would make a writer very happy. At With Love for Books we use the same format for every review we write. This makes it easier to write down our thoughts and our readers also know what to expect.
Suze has written a great post about reviews which might help you to write a review of your own:
We've had many great guest posts by authors about why reviews mean so much to them. It showed me how they learn and benefit from just a few honest words. Writing a book is done with passion and love, that's why Suze and I only publish positive reviews. I acknowledge the work that goes into writing a story and I have a lot of respect for all the authors who put their heart and soul in the books they write.
Ever since I started With Love for Books with Suze I've learned so much and I still learn new things every single day. I've met so many sweet authors that I now consider friends. Every single day I'm grateful for the fact that Suze took a chance on me and guided me to where I am today.
If you've ever doubt if your words matter please know that they do. You'll make an author very happy if you leave a review for them.
