Sutton thinks her life is great. She is engaged to Andrew, a successful lawyer, she owns a boutique that does very well and she's close to her best friend. Her whole world changes in just a few minutes though. Wyatt is helping Sutton at his family's garage where they're cleaning out Andrew's car before Wyatt will start working on it. When they find suspicious receipts and a pair of panties that Sutton recognizes because she's the one who sold them, Sutton is devastated. The people she thought she loved the most have betrayed her in a terrible way. How will she get over something like that?

Wyatt has always had a crush on Sutton and can't believe someone would cheat on the woman of his dreams. To help her save face he agrees to let people think they're dating. When it comes to Sutton, Wyatt will take everything he can get and a fake relationship will give him the perfect excuse to spend time with her. Sutton just went through a traumatic experience, can Wyatt convince her to give him a chance and win her heart?

Leave the Night On is a wonderful romantic story with amazing main characters. Sutton is a bit shy. She always wants to keep everyone happy, but forgets herself in the process. Wyatt keeps showing her how much he likes her and I enjoyed seeing her self confidence grow because of it. He's a really nice guy with a big heart and he's perfect for the incredibly sweet Sutton. They have plenty of chemistry, which gives the story a good balance. The kindness of the main characters is impressive and because of their attraction the story is a delightful mix of sugar and spice. The story is sexy, endearing and fun, which is a fabulous combination.

Laura Trentham has written another fantastic story set in Cottonbloom. The town is interesting, especially because it's divided in two equally fascinating parts with inhabitants from different backgrounds, who have more in common than they think. This combination works splendidly and it makes the Cottonbloom stories multilayered by giving them each a lovely emotional challenge. I like that a lot about Laura Trentham's writing. Her main characters are easy to love, her setting is gorgeous and her stories are heartwarming. I highly recommend Leave the Night On, it's a terrific feelgood book with an endearing ending that put a big smile on my face.

Advice

About Laura Trentham

An award-winning author, Laura Trentham was born and raised in a small town in Tennessee. Although, she loved English and reading in high school, she was convinced an English degree equated to starvation. She chose the next most logical major—Chemical Engineering—and worked in a hard hat and steel toed boots for several years.

She writes sexy, small town contemporaries and smoking hot Regency historicals. The first two books of her Falcon Football series were named Top Picks by RT Book Reviews magazine. Then He Kissed Me, a Cottonbloom novel, was named as one of Amazon’s best romances of 2016. When not lost in a cozy Southern town or Regency England, she's shuttling kids to soccer, helping with homework, and avoiding the Mt. Everest-sized pile of laundry that is almost as big as the to-be-read pile of books on her nightstand.
