  1. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favorite book because the story is more exciting to me. The first three are just as good but the fourth one has more of a fun vibe to it. The last three books are also as good but they got a little dark and intense.

  2. Hmm my comment earlier didn't post? Mine is the first book, The Sorceror Stone. Mainly because I was able to get away to an alternate magical world from the start and the character of Hermione became my fave.

  3. The first one. I was doing some consulting work when my friend recommended it. Stayed up way too late reading it, and had to buy my own copy on the way home. This was in 1999 and I was headed to London right after that visit, where I bought the second book.

  8. I would have to go with Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, a lot of awesome information is unveiled! But they are all magic :)

  9. I really can't pick a favourite, I've loved them all. The imagination the J K Rowling shows in her books is amazing and to have enough to write so many books is nearly beyond comprehension.

  10. Order of the Phoenix because never before in the series has there been so much going wrong, and the real frustration and foreboding nature of everything going on is felt through the very pages. People always complain that Harry was too angsty and whiny in this one - but I don't know what else they expect. It felt like real and honest character development.
