  3. Happens quite regularly, especially if it's a crime one and I NEED to know who did it before I go to bed. Or the romantic ones, where you NEED to know if they get together or not.

  5. Oh, yes. All the time, sometimes up to 4 or 5AM. It depends on the book, usually romance, but depends on the writing, if it's engaging or not. :-)

  6. It happens on occassion that I stay up longer than intended because I just need to finish oooone more chapter. The last time I seriously read into the night (or rather early morning hours) was book one of "The Hunger Games".

  15. I often read through the night until I finish my book, but that is the joy of being retired. I read all genres but particularly fond of historical crime/thrillers and detective stories. I like a book to grip me, sometimes scare me and must take me away from my day to day existence.

  16. If I'm near the end of a book (ie the last five chapters) I always stay up to finish it. That being said sometimes I can't tell if I'm not sleeping because I can't stop reading, or I keep reading because I can't sleep!

  51. I have lost sleep due to reading through the night. I don't really do it anymore as I have gotten older. This mostly happened while reading the Harry Potter books that were released at midnight in book stores. I've also stayed up to read some of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter books. Great giveaway, thank you.

You can't stop drinking in the plot and you need to know what is going to happen next. I have always loved books but my guilty pleasure is crime thrillers.
