  1. I love the fantasy of them. It is also nice that my daughters grew up with the books and movies so we always had something to read and watch together. Tradition now at Christmas to do rewatches of all the movies.

  5. I love the magic and friendship the series portrays and also the nostalgia I feel whenever I read the books because it reminds of my childhood and teenage years, growing up with the characters. :)

  6. What I love most about the books is that the characters were so relatable, despite their abilities to use magic. Their struggles were real in my mind thanks to Rowling's wonderful writing skills. Their problems were very similar to the ones we face in our ordinary lives. Relationships, friendships, loyalty and morality are huge parts of the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter connects me to my childhood. Every time I open my worn out books, I remember the first time again.

  17. There was so much detail put into the world surrounding the main character of Harry. Not just his story but every character he met or was mentioned all had their own carefully thought out story and nothing was ever put in just because, it all had a purpose to the storyline

  43. Gosh that question isn't even fair. XD Harry Potter is one of the book that got me to really fall in love with reading as a teen (wasn't that the case for most people?). The world was just so magical and was the kind of world that I wanted to escape to. The characters were fun and relatable, the plot was equal parts fun and scary, and it was just such a wonderful experience for me growing up.
