  1. I love classics for what makes them classics to begin with: many of them are timeless. Stories and characters that are memorable and that I can sometimes even find relatable no matter how old the book. I always fall back on classics when I'm in a reading slump, I almost always end up loving the ones I pick up.

  2. Classics offer excellent storytelling, splendid descriptive language and well developed characters, along with a glimpse into the manners, politics and philosophy of the past that is less accessible through non-fiction history books. There's just something attractive and intriguing about a book that has stood the test of time and offers a clean, and time-tested look into history and storytelling.

  3. I like classics because they tend to be longer reads or deeper thought reads. They make a person think about the issues of the day when they were written :)
