I love classics for what makes them classics to begin with: many of them are timeless. Stories and characters that are memorable and that I can sometimes even find relatable no matter how old the book. I always fall back on classics when I'm in a reading slump, I almost always end up loving the ones I pick up.
Classics offer excellent storytelling, splendid descriptive language and well developed characters, along with a glimpse into the manners, politics and philosophy of the past that is less accessible through non-fiction history books. There's just something attractive and intriguing about a book that has stood the test of time and offers a clean, and time-tested look into history and storytelling.
I like classics because they tend to be longer reads or deeper thought reads. They make a person think about the issues of the day when they were written :)
I like the classics as they allow a literary glimpse into the past and sometimes also amazing views into the future (just think of the scientific predictions some sci-fi authors made in the 19th century - it's fascinating!).
They give a glimpse at a life in a different era xx
I love classics because you can travel in past and its very exciting for me :)

I love that some how despite the time difference I can connect with them.
Classics are a means to step into days gone by. I by no means like them all but I do like Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, George Orwell, the Bronte sisters for example.
A lot of historical fiction is based in fact. I often learn things through reading them. And there's a sense of romance to that.
I love classics because they're timeless and I never get tired of reading them. They take you away to another world.
I don't read very often classic books, but I love Bronte Sisters Books :)
I'd love a hot drink in these mugs with scripts! Amusing and uplifting!
I haven't read a classic in a long time but my mom does still ... I used to like how I could read them and not put them down after starting
Classics are just as relevant today as when they were written. I love them because they show people are always the same.. some are kind and good others are conniving and selfish....

I love the passion and the timeless drama of the classics.
I am addicted to classics and buy multiple editions of my favourites. My pride and joy is a first edition of Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. However, my most read author is Jane Austen with Pride and Prejudice being y favourite. I even call my hubby Mr. Darcy. The subtle digs at patriarchal society is the thing I love most about the classic novels.
Classics will always stays with you through time.
