Christmas setting as it a warm and joyful setting and my favourite time of the year.
I love countyside settings like little villages.
I've always wanted to live in a village and love how everyone knows each other and pulls together.
In a snowy setting in a beautiful countryside
I'm not fussed, to be honest. A novel set in contemporary Boston, a small town surrounded by lakes and forests or a story set aboard a ship in the North Atlantic, it doesn't really matter. For me, character and plot are the most important parts of a story.
Even though I enjoy a variety of settings, my favorite is a country setting because it is so peaceful and relaxing.
I like small coastal town setting. I live in one and enjoy the familiarity.
I like small town settings because the characters seem more realistic.
I think a county setting with lots of beautiful tres surrounding a small cabin
My favourite setting for any story is a small village in Ireland.
I don't have a favourite setting for stories, I love reading about everywhere, exotic or simple, glamorous or plain, familiar or unknown - it's one of the joys of reading, escaping to a different place in every bookJane
I love a historical setting, such as Regency London xx
I like romance, preferably on an exotic island with a gorgeous hunk (well a girl can dream!!)
I do love my Christmas ones, but anything country, beach like I really like. Especially those that are set in cafes or in seaside town shops. Although as a huge bookworm, I enjoy nearly every setting. Not overly sure about "outer space" but will give that a try as well.
I love small town settings.
I like stories set in locations I'm familiar with so that I can envision the places the characters referred to. For me that's Southern California or the California Central Coast
I love small cottages or hotel settings :) I like big houses, but you get lost in where everyone is, in the house and the story, lol :)

Small village settings, where everyone knows everyone else
I prefer a setting that is very different from my daily life. Countries outside of Africa, winter and snow are favourites!
I prefer a school setting, as a teen, I love daydreaming the things I read and reimagining it while walking around the school.
Small village settings and college settings. First ones are cozy and the second ones are full of angst usually - that's what I like.

My favorite setting for a good story is a small town, all kinds of things can happen in a small town.
Cornwall boats and water, all the stories I have really enjoyed centre around one or all of these.
My favorite setting for stories is a suburb or small town because I feel you can really place yourself in those type of settings. They feel almost realistic.
Vacations, no matter if the main character goes to a different country and walks through the streets of new cities, or just a beach vacation, these stories are my fave :)
I don't really have a favorite setting as long as the story is a good one.
I like small towns/villages. They always have such great, quirky characters.
