Book Review - Mom! The Monsters! by Liliana Cinetto and Poly Bernatene

There is a little boy who is afraid to go to sleep because of all the monsters, ghosts and other scary things he sees. When he talks about it with his mother, it turns out that he doesn't have to be afraid because his mommy will protect him against all the bad things.

Almost every child has a vivid imagination and each parent has to deal with monsters and ghosts at one time or another. Mom! The Monsters! shows in a playful way that there is nothing to be afraid of. Mommy (or daddy) will chase or send them away, so that everyone can go to bed safely. This book really made an impression on my son. He talks about monsters a lot, but because of reading this book he remembers that he doesn't have to be scared and we never have any trouble to put him to bed. This book makes the monsters funny and is a great way to let your child know that everything is all right and that nothing creepy is lurking in the shadows.

Advice

Mom! The Monsters! is a fabulous book for highly imaginative children.

  9. What a wonderful book for my 2 youngest grandsons. Both seem to talk about monsters endlessly and then are afraid to go to sleep. :) This is a perfect book for them.
