  1. I used to love holding a book the most. Due to my disability, I've lost the physical strength. Now I find it's easier to read books on my laptop. Someday, there will be a cure for my condition and I can't wait to hold my favorite books again.

  2. Ebooks are what I read the most. I have limited space for print books. So I usually read a digital version and if I love the book then I buy a hard back.

  3. My favorite way of read is with my Kindle. My "Baby" goes everywhere with me. To the littlest chore to the biggest. I buy my purses around whether or not my Kindle will fit in it and all the rest of my stuff.

  4. I'll always love reading physical copies the most. I love the feel of turning the pages and the smell!

  9. I prefer reading paperbacks. There's something so reassuringly solid about a book. Oh, and the thrill of finding a hidden gem in a second-hand shop or a lunchtime spent browsing in a new book shop and spending far too much. The delight of pressing a book into a friend's hands saying that they must read it, or finding a book abandoned (or set free) on a train and it being a marvellous introduction to a new author.

  10. I love a paperback as I prefer reading print as i remember the story better, and a paperback is lighter than a hardback and I have trouble with my arms and holding things up!

  12. I like physical copies of books. Turning the pages of a book is the only thing I still do that I also did when I was two years old so it's like a comfort blanket. Looking at a screen is not the same, it feels like work.

  13. I love reading paperbacks but since I live in the middle of nowhere :) it's easier and much faster to buy e-books.

  14. Definitely physical books for me. I love the whole sensory experience and you just can't get that with eReaders etc. I have used audiobooks though when recuperating after op.s and when concentrating for long periods is difficult.

  19. My favorite way to read is to listen to audio books. I'll listen to them any way, but I prefer to use my Kindle Fire. To actually read, I like to do so on my I-Pod, because it's so easy to have with me anywhere and is really light.

  20. I like paperbacks the most.
They are usually easy to cary around and I can take my notes directly on pages, but I don't have a feeling like I'm damaging the book bc paperbacks are cheaper then hardbacks.

  39. Those necklaces are beautiful! I'm totally an eReader these days. It was a long transition, but I burn through pages faster in a digital format than the written page, plus, my arms and neck don't get tired. Huge bonus there.

  44. Oh my gosh, what kind of question is this? Physical copies, without a doubt. There's not an ounce of hesitation in my answer, paperbacks would forever win against iPads or of the like. Although I love my phone and the uses of it, and I admittedly indulge in reading a few ebooks from time to time, it could never beat the ultimate feel of the true essence of books. In fact, it could never even compare to half the precious value. Books over screens, forever and always.

  45. Ebooks because of the Kindle lights :) But I have my own library and if I'm loving an ebook and always buy a paperback.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I love hardback books but I also love all forms of books too.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I like paperback books. Hardback books are too big and heavy and unwieldy. Digital books are okay, but I have a hard time finding what I am looking for. They do have the advantage of saving space though.

    ReplyDelete

  56. I'm still all about paperbacks. I haven't gotten aboard the ebook train, as long as it comes in paperback, I'll probably never change

    ReplyDelete
  57. Kindle, but I love paperbacks, so I get those of my fave books. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  58. i dont think you can beat the feel of a proper book

    ReplyDelete
  59. I do love "proper" books and use our local library every fortnight (or 3 weeks) - I read 12 "proper" books every 3 weeks (and sometimes even more). But Kindles are amazing when you go on holiday so you don't have to carry loads of books about. I tend to read loads on a night on holiday as we go out through the day so if I have my Kindle I can access even more if I can't get into any that I have dowbloaded.

  60. I like ebooks for text-only and library books (lighter!), but print for photo, art, and especially cookbooks (I hate cooking from a Kindle)!

  61. I like to read hard back books because the cover is sturdy(you can wipe them off if you spill coffee on the cover ;) ) and it's easier on the eyes.
