  1. Ararat by Christopher Golden. It's a thriller and I love it when the elements play a big part in the character's struggles to survive. What could be harder than snow, threats of avalanches, and below freezing temperatures.

  19. I want to read The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit by Michael Finkel. I'd like to read this because it is a true story and reminds me of my own life right now; not all of it, but a huge part of it is similar :)

  22. Susie Steiner's 2nd in the DS Manon Bradshaw crime series is due out in June. The 1st, Missing, Presumed blew me away. I suspected everyone but the correct outcome.

  52. One of my most anticipated March releases is "The Idiot" by Elif Batuman... It looks flippin' AMAZING: sprawling, brilliant, contemplative, and exhilarating.
    The first bit of the book's overview (on Amazon US), in bold, is as follows:
    "A portrait of the artist as a young woman. A novel about not just discovering but inventing oneself."
    I love it already.
