  1. I have many favourite authors, but since this question asks for one favourite author, I'll go ahead and say, Stephen King because he's the father of descriptive writing and his plots leave you in awe.

  3. I don't really have a favourite author. It depends on which genre I'm reading at the time, my mood, so many things. For me an author has to be grammatically correct, descriptive but concise and most importantly, be able to tell a story.

  4. It's a toss up between Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I've been reading them for a long time and always grab their latest releases. I love horror and suspense thrillers because of these two.

  7. Khaled Hosseini because he weaves a story from a deeper place. He leaves you engrossed to the plot with every re-read. If you're a book lover then please do reward yourself with his books.

  8. One of my favorite is Suzanne Wright. I love how she writes (Te Phoenix & The Mercury pack series that is)
    Her alpha males are so possessive and I just love that!

  11. I have quite a few favorite authors; Sylvain Reynard, Sarah Dessen, Gena Showalter, Jane Green, Meg Cabot because I love their books and the way they write their characters.

  13. I have several, but in high school my English teacher handed me a book and forced me to read it. It was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. So Rowling will always be my all-time favorite author.

  29. Have so many but to name one I will go with Diana Gabaldon. Her books actually hold my attention till I'm done. And her books are very long. Not only are her Outlander And Lord John stories captivating the history within them is wonderful and researched completely.

    Terry Books Shannera Chronicles, George RR Martin, Danielle Steel, Sherrilyn Kenyon...really the list goes ON...

  62. I have a few favorite authors. Jennifer L. Armentorut has so many amazing books, each of them really interesting and I love the way she writes. Also A. G. Howard has this creativity creating worlds that I love it, just like Sarah J. Maas. And Colleen Hoover writes such beautiful stories!
