  2. I love that books enable me to lose myself in a different world when surrounded by a crowd in a train or some other adverse circumstance. The delight of completing all my day's tasks and taking up a nice suspense drama, dissolving into the plot, straining to read one more line before my eyelids give away and longing to grab hold of it at the next opportunity is wonderful.

  3. I love books for the reason that many characters have a much more interesting life than I do. They travel to places that I will never go. Have adventures that are not possible for me. I experience a different life through them.

  10. The escapism. I hope paper books continue to be printed, don't like the idea of these "e-books". A paper book is more versatile, you can look at more than one page at a time (if you need to refer back to something for example). I like the illustrations / photos in books too.

  50. The reason why I love books so much is because of them I got to know (imaginary) people that mean so much to me, even though they aren't real. I think bookworms will understand me.
    Like, my favorite characters (VA cast) are my favorite, I love them so much, even though they live only in readers' imagination.
