  17. I like YA because it has a kind of freedom, innocence and depth about it which adult novels don't have. The feelings of characters are magnified and it seems to be a world in which everything is possible.

  20. For me, YA is a walk down memory lane. I also agree with other things I have read, about how YA characters tend to lay it all out there and show more raw emotions, while adult characters may compartmentalize their emotions more.

  23. They're an easy read, they're generally fast paced and I can relate to the characters and make a connection with my life growing up. In the end, they're books. If a book has a compelling storyline and seems interesting, I'll read it.
