  15. Alice in Wonderland was one of my favourite books as a child and now my daughter loves it too! We love the message that it is okay to be different, after all, all of the best people are!

  16. I liked everything about it, like the book itself was made for me. When I was younger, I'd carry it with me everywhere. I enjoyed the general theme of the book, the abstract nature of a second world that the writer managed to capture perfectly, but the only one who could understand the world was Alice, and everyone else just thought she was mad.

  19. I love the imagination with which Lewis Carroll had with the characters and the the world he created. The whole idea of another world and Alice being able to venture there was absolutely incredible.

  30. The huge amount of imagination that went into writing the book, the characters who are so interesting. The eat me, drink me parts, imagine shrinking & growing back again!! Places & characters that you feel that you know so well having read the book time and time again but still are drawn back to. Discovering different aspects of the story each time you reread it (due to reading it throughout your life - at different ages). It is both full of fun and dark corners...

  76. Love the fact that it seems to be a random selection of ideas which someone put togehter. Saying that, it's fun and a great book/film etc. I love the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter but the characters are very weird and entertaining in their own right.

I have loved this story since a child, I love the topsy turvy way that it is written and the characters are so full of life, I also love that you can pic up on something new each time you read it, I am obsessed so much that for my 30th I had a 4 tier Alice in Wonderland cake, it was upside down and it was amazing!

  89. I have loved Alice in Wonderland since I was a child and had a beautiful illustrated version of the book. I used to love the magic of the little cakes that made Alice bigger and smaller. I still love the magic of it all as an adult!
