  1. To be more tolerant. I work with people with learning disabilities (I admin and they work on the shop floor) and some days I am not quite "right" with them (not in a "bullying" sort of way, just not understanding them as much as I would like) so would like to understand more about their habits and stuff. :)

  2. I am not going to finish a book if I can't get into it. Life is short and there are too many good books out there!

  3. I don't really have reading goals. I just read whatever takes my fancy although I don't read as much non-fiction as I used to.

  10. I have four challenges. They usually work together and help me to whittle down my ginormous TBR.

  11. I don't have reading goals for 2017. I read for enjoyment - nothing more, nothing less.

  12. I don't have any reading goals, mostly because I just read here and there. I would like to get rid of the pile of books near my bed but I always end up just adding and buying more and the pile gets big again!

  13. I don't have any reading goals for 2017. No real reason--- I just don't set reading goals. There is a fully stocked cabinet full of books that I'd like to whittle down over the next few months, if that counts!

  19. My reading goals for the upcoming year are to read at least two books a week, one non-fiction and one fiction, and to read as many of them from indie authors in my network to get to know their styles and leave them reviews, and of coarse to invite them for interviews :-)

  23. I think I put down a review instead of a giveaway under the "enter another giveaway" Rafflecopter space (cut-and-paste before coffee), so if you could add "Midwinter's Eve hop" there manually, that would be great! Anyway, I hope to whittle down the endless TBR pile (while at the same time trying to limit myself to books I really WANT to read). Happy new year!

My other goal is to actually sell some books once read - a few benefits... like room for new books, making my better half happy to see some go, and raising some much-needed funds for me and donations to Second Chance Animal Rescue (local charity that we support as much as we can and give a percentage of any ebay sales to)
