Maggie and Jack make a bet after Jack had a painful accident during a night that should have been fun. Maggie has to go without something she loves more than anything in the world. Will she be able to do it?

Pembrooke and Church are very much in love and Pembrooke adores their closeness. She's noticed that between the sheets things are less steamy than they used to be. Can she make this important part of their relationship come back to life again?

The Bet is a lighthearted and sexy story. Maggie and Jack are always looking for fun and I loved that about them. Pembrooke is a bit more serious, she's sweet, but she also has a creative and more wild side. She keeps surprising Church and I liked that about her. It's obvious that the four main characters are good friends and I enjoyed their easy banter and the fact that they are so comfortable with one another.

Evie Phillips is a skilled writer who manages to deliver a wonderful complete story in just a few pages. I really enjoyed reading this first Relationship Status Rewind story, it's a great beginning of the series.

Erin and Justin love each other very much and they've always had fun together. It's almost time for them to go their separate ways though. The next step of their lives is at different sides of the country and they've decided to leave with a clean break. They will end their beautiful relationship to set each other free. They will say their goodbyes in a memorable way by completing the University of Michigan bucket list.

Erin and Justin are adorable together and I had a lump in my throat when I read that their relationship was about to be finished. Evie Phillips describes their final days together in an amazing thoughtful way. She uses a famous bucket list as a goodbye ritual, which is an original way to make good memories while doing something heartbreaking.

The Bucket List is an impressive story. It's complete, it contains a lot of emotion and the thought behind it is lovely. I absolutely loved this bittersweet story.

Evan is a nice guy who's looking for a girl to love and cherish. So far he hasn't had a lot of success with the ladies and his friends want him to get some experience. When a colleague asks Evan to celebrate Pi Day with her Evan thinks he finally has a chance to find real love. He talks to his friends about Mady's invitation and they give him some much needed pointers. Will Evan finally get what he wants or is Mady after something completely different?

The Lesson is a story about a guy who's looking for the one and I loved that about Evan. He's endearing. While his friends think he needs to get some experience Evan wants to be loved. That's bound to go wrong, but maybe acting instead of just looking isn't so bad after all and Evan might even have a great time. I loved the chemistry between him and Mady and was glad he at least got some sparks.

The Lesson is an entertaining story. Evan is really cute and while his friends think he's been given an amazing gift he isn't so sure, but he's determined and I liked that very much. His personality is what I loved most about this story. Evan definitely doesn't do everything right and the humor increases when the story progresses. The ending made me laugh, Evie Phillips came up with something incredibly funny that could have happened to anyone and I enjoyed her creativity.

Pembrooke and Church have been together for many years and they are still very much in love. They're on holiday in the Hamptons together with their friends. Everything is going well until Church gets some news that will change everything. They're facing a dilemma, whatever they will choose someone is going to get hurt. Maybe it will even be both of them. They decide to live in the moment and enjoy their break, making sure it ends with plenty of sparks.

The Decision is another emotional Relationship Status Rewind story. Pembrooke and Church come from different backgrounds, but they complement each other in many ways and are great together. Facing an impossible choice ends their wonderful carefree days together and Evie Phillips perfectly describes the pain of becoming an adult and leaving your youth behind. The hurt is for tomorrow, because they still have today, which is a beautiful given.

Evie Phillips has written an incredibly moving story. She accurately describes what's going on in the minds of her characters in just a few sentences. Their actions speak louder than words and I love how many layers she put into them. The Decision is difficult, but it also has an abundance of charm which makes it stunning.

Advice

The four Relationship Status Rewind stories are definitely worth reading and I highly recommend them. They're perfect for readers who don't always have the time or desire to read a full-length novel. They're quality stories that deserve to be read.

The four stories can be read as standalones, but I would advise you to read story #1 before story #4.
