  1. I love YA because it's like you go back in time and high school is more enjoyable than it was :) Two Rainbow Rowell books!!! So awesome, she is one of my favorite authors, I loved Eleanor & Park.

    I like YA because they are books with themes that appeal to young people (mainly) and create worlds and fascinating scenes.
    Whether dystopian, contemporary, always give pleasure to read.

  6. I love YA because they introduced me into books. I know a lot of people think that they are not worthy, but some of them can really teach you beautiful things if you just pay attention.

  7. I like YA because usually, the characters aren't so jaded as in adult novels, they don't have all the bitterness that we so often accumulate as adults. It's refreshing and a reminder that things aren't really so bad.

  9. A dominant part of any book’s success is its escapist appeal, and YA excels at providing this. The fantastical worlds and sheer inventiveness and imagination of YA is rarely rivalled by adult literature, though George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series (also enjoyed by many teens) is an obvious exception.

  20. They're an easy read, they're generally fast paced and I can relate to the characters and make a connection with my life growing up. In the end, they're books. If a book has a compelling storyline and seems interesting, I'll read it.

  30. I like YA because I feel like the authors give themselves a lot more freedom when they write. The authors might be adults, but it's like they're unlocking the kid in them again. :)

  36. YA is so much better than it was when I was a YA in the 90s. The variety is fantastic, from the life-like teen dramas to the dystopian or fantasy genres. As a school librarian I love that this inbetweeny stage has so much choice. Thanks for the giveaway.

  46. Young adult books appeal to me, as at 22, I feel like I'm inclined to start widening my horizons and reading classic literature, but nothing beats the form of escapism I've known all my life!

  62. A student can write the same sentence with the quote in a variety of ways. The citations of the direct quote, as you may guess, involve quotation marks, have a look at the page to find more!
