Rita and her siblings go on a road trip, but they don't get very far. Their car breaks down and they end up in a small village in the middle of nowhere. They have to find a place to stay and wait until the car is fixed. Rita is the only one who doesn't mind being there because it gives her the chance to spend time with Jasper. She has burned the family restaurant down and is hurt and confused about the future. Jasper is the town's player and bad boy, but it's just a reputation, a label he hates. He's the person who can make Rita forget her sorrows. They have an obvious connection, but Rita isn't there to stay and Jasper doesn't want to have a fling. Will there be a chance for them to explore what's going on between them or will the circumstances prevent them from finding out?
Too Hot to Handle is a wonderful sexy story. I loved Rita from the start. She's a great and incredibly talented person. Pressure, expectations and being a public person became too much for her and she's looking for a fresh start. Jasper is a really nice guy, but he has and image and it's hard to change it. When he meets Rita he knows there can be more between them and he isn't looking for anything casual, but she makes it clear that she isn't there to stay. Their chemistry is amazing and the tension between them is palpable, but there are many obstacles. This made reading their story very interesting.
Tessa Bailey knows how to write hot romantic stories. Too Hot to Handle is as much about love as it is about sex and I loved the intensity this brings. Every scene is vivid and it was easy to picture the small town, the deep connection between the main characters and the frustration that comes from being in a situation that isn't easy to solve. Rita and Jasper have a lot of issues and together they have a chance to heal. Tessa Bailey is fantastic at writing sex scenes and she makes them both scorching and meaningful at the same time.
I loved the idea of the sibling road trip and liked reading about the bonds between them. It makes the story versatile and I was immediately curious to read more about them. Too Hot to Handle is a multilayered story with many surprising twists and turns and an unexpectedly heartwarming sweet ending. It's a promising and dazzling start of the Romancing the Clarksons series.

Aaron is driven and career-minded and getting fired wasn't what he planned for his future. Even when he's on a road trip with his siblings he's still thinking about his job. Politics are his life. When he gets a second chance working for a well-known senator he grabs it with both hands and knows he can't mess things up. That might be problematic because he meets Grace, the senator's daughter. Aaron is a player and this is what lead to his downfall. He never expected having to fight temptation a second time, but Grace is a distraction and he doesn't know if he can stay away. Grace's family is conservative and she already hasn't got the best reputation. Will she and Aaron be doomed from the start?
Grace is artistic and she has great ideas. She has to think about her father's reputation before she does anything and that isn't always easy. She had a difficult time in the past, so her parents are watching her like a hawk. Aaron should stay away from Grace, she's the senator's daughter and he needs to make a success of his presence to save his career. He's smooth and confident. He doesn't have any problems seducing women, but he can't help falling for the person he isn't supposed to get involved with. That made fascinating reading. Grace and Aaron are an unusual combination and that is what I liked about them so much. Their connection is both special and surprising.
Too Wild to Tame is another amazing Romancing the Clarksons book. Tessa Bailey's steamy scenes are fantastic. She expresses so many different feelings and makes every encounter meaningful. I love that she's written a story about two troubled people who are perfect for each other. Being with Grace will get Aaron in a lot of trouble, but he can't stay away. Tessa Bailey writes about a force of attraction that is too strong to withstand in an honest and believable way, which is what I enjoyed the most about this book.
Too Wild to Tame is a fabulous raw romantic story. Tessa Baily writes about love that isn't easy, but it's there, so her main characters have to find a way to deal with it. This is really interesting and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. I highly recommend this series. The road trip is a terrific idea and the stories that originate from it are both creative and seductive.
