Izzy's ex-boyfriend Joe cheated on her and to get over him she's made a list. One of her resolutions is having a one night stand with a stranger. Izzy decides to go away for a night on her own. The initial plan was to go to a hotel for a romantic mini break with Joe. Izzy made the reservation months ago and as a refund isn't possible she's going and she's determined to enjoy herself. When she meets Oliver her wishes about a handsome stranger to spend the night with might actually come true. Will this actually help Izzy to get over Joe?
Your Room or Mine? is a cute and fun story. Izzy is a sweetheart. She's a gardener and is passionate about her work. Oliver is a lawyer who works all the time. He's a good guy with a complex history and he can definitely use some time to relax. There's plenty of chemistry between him and Izzy and it was interesting to read about the connection between two people whose lives are completely different. They eventually discover that they have more in common than they thought and their story is sexy and very romantic.
Charlotte Phillips has written a wonderful quick read. Her writing flows easily and she knows how to build tension. Her story is about two people who seem to know what they want, but secretly have other desires in their hearts. I liked that theme a lot. I really enjoyed reading this fast-paced novella and can't wait to read the next one in the series.

  1. I love reading funny, sassy and sexy stories. I'm all interested now :)

  2. I love chic list Nd am in need of a good one at the moment. It's funny how at different times you fancy different genres. This sounds like read that will cause me to chuckle.

  3. Thank you so much for the link to the freebie! I'd never heard of Bookshout before. It was from there that I found this gem from Izzy's list: "1. eBay his entire collection of football memorabilia..."
For some reason, I can't wait to read this book. And I agree with what Tanya said above, too, about certain [kinds of] books capturing my interest at certain times-- when at other times, they definitely wouldn't.
    Thanks again!

  4. I've never read about a female roadie, and a rock star story is always nice!
