Kinni is precise and organized. She loves making lists and is the ideal person to help with a wedding. She's the perfect bridesmaid who can be trusted with plenty of additional tasks. When the bride-to-be asks her to relax sometimes as well, instead of only trying to make everything run smoothly, she's given Kinni a much harder job than making a seating plan that works. Fortunately there's help. Price has been part of Kinni's group of friends for years, but he still doesn't really know her. He wants to change this and the wedding is the perfect opportunity for him to find out more about the woman he's admired from afar.

Kinni doesn't like being surprised and Price is the exact opposite. While she's always seeing problems he only pays attention to the fun he can have. He's a hard worker, but he also wants to enjoy himself and he thinks Kinni can learn something from him. He doesn't expect that Kinni will let him without a fight though, but he desperately wants to help her prove she's actually capable of letting go. Will she give him a chance and will they get along well enough until the wedding?

Random Acts of Marriage is a fun and sexy story. I loved Kinni. She's stiff and doesn't like being spontaneous, which makes her quirky. She also has a great sense of humor and she has some fabulous hidden character traits. Price is gorgeous, cheeky and sweet. He wants to help Kinni, but by doing that he also helps himself, because he likes spending time with her. They are opposites, but they work. I'm a big fan of stories about people with completely different characters. They often have amazing chemistry and Boone Brux has definitely used that to her advantage.

Random Acts of Marriage is a light and easy read. It's a cheerful story with cute main characters and witty dialogue that made me smile. I like Boone Brux's writing style. It has an easy flow and she writes about people whose best features and flaws are both adorable. I liked this story very much, it's such a cute and uplifting read.

Random Acts of Marriage is part of a series, but can easily be read as a standalone. The first book, Bridesmaid Blues has the exact same timeframe. The stories are complimentary and there's no fixed reading order.

Second: No, seriously-- I love those shoes. :)

The characters in this book seem so interesting! ...No: They deserve a more interesting descriptive than that. :) I love how you mention that the author "writes about people whose best features and flaws are both adorable." I find this immensely intriguing.

I'll be adding this to my wish list, for sure!
