In Best Seller you’ll meet three women who have a lot more in common than they think. All of the women are members of an online writing community. In this community every member has the same goals and dreams, writing that bestseller story. You should think that they would fully support each other but when everyone is reaching for the same dream, things are not always what they seem.
Eden Taylor wanted nothing more than being a bestselling author. With the help of her father she manages to accomplish that. Eden is a young woman and with her good looks the public is taken with her immediately. Eden plays the part of bestselling author extremely well and she has a contract for more books to be published. However, Eden has a secret which could destroy her writing career in an instant.
Jan Chilver had a rough life. She finds her refuge in stories and she’s a very good writer. Jan doesn’t stand out in a crowd and lives by herself. The only friend that Jan has is Becky. When they get together they can talk for hours about their stories and their dreams. Being a goodhearted person got Jan in trouble and now she wants out. Unfortunately Jan is no longer able to recover from her depression and makes a desperate choice.
Becky Hunter has been in a long-term relationship with Alex. Alex loves the good life and he also loves spending money, money they don’t always have. Becky is done with the constant partying and chooses to stay at home most of the time. Becky has self-published a few books which haven’t done badly, but aren’t bestsellers either. Alex is pushing Becky to be better and when he sees an opportunity he takes matters into his own hands.
Terry Tyler has written another fantastic novella. She manages to make the characters come to life really well and makes them feel so real. It isn't hard to understand why Eden, Jan and Becky made their choices. All of them could easily be real people who are trying to make it in this competitive world. I read Best Seller in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down. I already was a fan of Terry Tyler and she amazes me with her skills as a writer every time I read one of her books. This is the perfect read for a cozy afternoon or evening.
