In Children's Book of Recipes you'll find 30 Fun Dishes for Young Chefs. The setup of the book is really easy. You'll get an explanation about how to read the charts, what the measurements mean and also of the kitchen basics. Because of this everyone will know exactly what to do with each recipe.

The recipes all have a level of difficulty, so you'll know which recipes are good to start with. They look great and attractive for children. One of the recipes is a sandwich train. The sandwiches look amazing and the toppings are very healthy. I think that there isn't a child who would be able to resist this yummy looking food.

My son is a picky eater, so I am always interested in finding new recipes. In this Children's Book of Recipes I found a lot of inspiration. It is a fun way to make food together with your child. My son is fully into his 'I want to do everything myself phase' and this recipe book connects with that need for children to do things themselves.

I found the recipes suitable for the whole family. There are lots of delicious deserts like a Chocolate Feast. I know that if my son and I would make that one my husband would be happy as well. One of the recipes I will definitely try out as soon as possible are the mini pizza's. We are big fans of pizza and with these step-by-step recipes it will be fun to create our own mini ones. Because of the fact that these are small pizzas you can create multiple ones with a selection of your favorite toppings.

Each recipe comes with a clear photo of what the result should look like. The pictures look appealing for both adults and children. The photos make my mouth water and it's fun to look through them with my child in anticipation of what we're going to make. Knowing what the result will look like creates familiarity, which makes it easier for your child to eat new things. If you have a child who is a difficult eater or if you would like to try out recipes together with your child, the Children's Book of Recipes is a book that I would highly recommend.

  2. It's so important to get children preparing and cooking food from an early age. It's frightening the number of young adults I meet who can't even prepare something as simple as pasta and rely on processed and take-way foods.

  4. This book is an amazing idea for not just the kids but the parents as well! It's always important to get kids eating healthy and many kids just love to refuse doing so, so getting the kids involved in preparing and making the recipes will make them want to eat them! It's also a great idea for spending quality time with your children so I think it's amazing!!
