  1. Honestly... not really sure what's considered a beach read. I'll just read whatever I feel like reading then. Plus, I don't really go to the beach often.

  5. Any book that is short in paperback format, with a simple plot and can be read faster. This is because in summer, with the heat and high temperatures, do not give a lot like reading a giant book, with a complicated plot (eg Epic fantasy).
    Some of them are: Hush Hush Series, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

  8. I don't really know what's considered a beach read? A guilty pleasure book that I enjoy reading by the sea and out in the sun?? If so I loved Summer Skin by Kirsty Eager as it's a book set in summer and gets you into the summer feeling!

  18. I don't have a favorite, but I definitely prefer short stories or a novel that is not difficult to jump back into. I'm reading The Andromeda Strain right now, and it's very easy to get into + a quick read. Something like that. :)

  50. I am a person that does not really have a favorite " beach " read. To me any good book, is a good beach read!! I have many favorite books, the list is long. I love the Gena Showalter series and the Atlantis series would be good for the beach I guess if you are wanting a read with water... lol but I love the Outlander series as well, but that is a harder read and may not be good for the beach. I can go on, but to me just any good book, that grips you and won't let go is a beach read. thank you for the giveaway

  60. I don't really have a favourite beach read. I read a lot of mystery and romance in the summer, but I rarely read at the beach. Some authors I tend to turn again and again are Courtney Milan and Agatha Christie.

  66. I scrolled the the comments, and am relieved: It seems that I might not be the only one who doesn't exactly know what a "beach read" is. :) That said, I'd love a real page-turner that moves at a nice clip, is not too cereand is lighthearted than morose!
