Deek and Erin-- Join the Rhewination
Last week, Deek went on blog tour to celebrate the release of his latest book, 122 Rules. And this week, Erin is on tour to promote her fantasy trilogy, The Fulfillment Series!
About Erin Rhew
Erin Rhew is an editor, a running coach, and the author of The Fulfillment Series. Since she picked up Morris the Moose Goes to School at age four, she has been infatuated with the written
word. She went on to work as a grammar and writing tutor in college and is still teased by her family and friends for being a member of the "Grammar Police."
A Southern girl by blood and birth, Erin now lives in a rainy pocket of the Pacific Northwest with the amazingly talented (and totally handsome) writer Deek Rhew and their “overly fluffy,” patient-as-a-saint writing assistant, a tabby cat named Trinity. She and Deek enjoy reading aloud to one another, running, lifting, boxing, eating chocolate, and writing side-by- side.

Review by Anniek
Layla never knew her real parents, but she was taken in by a lovely family and lives in a small town. She had a great childhood growing up with her two brothers Grant and Samson. They have always tried to keep her away from the prying eyes of the Ecclesiastics. These mythical figures are searching for the Fulfillment. Layla fits the description of the fulfillment with her raven black hair and her purple eyes, but because of the rumors of the horrible tests that the possible fulfillments have to go through they are doing everything in their power to leave Layla unnoticed. When Layla is snapped away by an Elder she has no choice but to see what this path will bring her.
Will is the prince of Ethereal and will be king someday. He's notified that the Fulfillment has been found and that his bride-to-be will be brought to him. The Prophecy claims that the Fulfillment and the prince of Ethereal will bring peace to both kingdoms. Will has always been the perfect son. He is kind, capable and honorable. He loves his family dearly and is a true king who will do anything to keep his family and people safe. When he meets Layla he is stricken by her appearance and her strength.
Nash has been the child who was never loved by his father. He stands out with his looks and his father has always resented him without him knowing why. He sneaks out of the castle regularly to get away from his father's wrath. He often goes to the Vanguards kingdom and there he notices Layla. She is in need and he comes to her rescue. He brings her back to his kingdom. Nash feels drawn to her and is looking forward to getting to know Layla better. He is in shock when he finds out that Layla is promised to his brother Will and that he has to block his feelings for her.
When old memories are unlocked and enemies are coming from every corner will they all be able to make the right decisions? Will they choose what is in their heart or will they put the need of all the people before their own?
Erin Rhew has written an epic series. All the characters have been created with care. This makes it impossible not to connect with them. I understand why Layla is drawn to both of the brothers since they are each so wonderful in their own way. Because of the detailed writing I had no trouble at all to understand what their world is like and how everything works.
The Prophecy is an easy read with lots of twists and turns. It keeps surprising you and pulls you in completely. I wasn't expecting the ending at all and I really appreciate it when a writer is able to do that. This series is one I will absolutely finish because I can't wait to find out what will happen next.
