It's in His Kiss by Eve Devon

Sephy wants to make it on her own. She's trying to provide for herself and her daughter Daisy by setting up a lingerie business. She's a talented designer, but the photo campaign she was going to use for her first collection isn't what she wanted at all. That's why she's asking her best friend Luke to pose for her. Only he doesn't want to do that with her models, he tells Sephy he only wants to do the shoot if she's in it as well. He also has a request of his own, Sephy has to pretend she's his fiancée when Luke's parents are visiting. It sounds like a really good deal, but there's one thing that's bothering Sephy, she likes Luke a little too much and she promised herself to focus on her daughter and her career alone...

Sephy and Luke have a lot of great chemistry and for me that was the best part of It's in His Kiss. They are a fantastic match, but Sephy isn't ready to be involved with a man again. Luke is absolutely perfect. He's smart, he makes his own computer games and is extremely successful, he's generous, he's sweet and very patient. He's such a wonderful main character. Sephy is creative, she's strong and resilient, but she's also living by strict self-imposed rules. I couldn't wait to see if she was willing to break them or not. I really enjoyed reading about Luke and Sephy, they're absolutely fantastic together.

It's in His Kiss is actually the third part of a series. It can be read as a standalone, but the story makes more sense if you read the first two books as well. Her Best Laid Plans is about Sephy's brother and The Love List about her sister. The three books are equally wonderful. Eve Devon writes sexy romantic stories and I love the tension she puts into them. Her stories are quick and easy reads and they're perfect if you're looking for something light and hot. I really like her books and highly recommend them.

  3. I like the fact that they're best friends. I think friendship makes a romance stronger.
