Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne

Review by Anniek
Natalie is moving to Montana. She has accepted a teaching job there. When she gets off the plane and is outside in her new area for the first time the winter weather is not what she expected. In her not so warm clothes and heels she is trying to make her way to her new home. Hawk is the chief of the fire department and he's also Natalie's landlord. When he sees her get out of the taxi that drops her off at her new place he's instantly blown away by her beauty. He doesn't mind at all that she literally falls into his arms.
That Natalie is not prepared for the weather is obvious when she crashes her car into Hawk's truck. There's a risk that she has a concussion, so Hawk doesn't take any chances and brings Natalie to his family home. During the days that follow it is obvious that the attraction they feel cannot be ignored.
I have never read a book by Melody Anne that I didn't love from the start. Natalie is a sweetheart and deserves a good man like Hawk. Hawk is a firefighter and he's already hot just because of that, but he also has the biggest heart you can imagine. He is the kindest man ever and takes care of people in need.
Melody Anne knows how to deliver a story filled with love and you will be feeling it in your own heart while you read. I love it when a story is set in a small town. It's cozy and it's the perfect environment for two hearts to become one. This short novella is the perfect romantic read.

  1. I've never read a book by this author. I am a teacher and can't imagine moving to Montana! It sounds like she developed the story in a romantic way.
